Cast Handmade Paper Sculpture
Mother is a large scale scullpture that appears heavy, natural, and rock-like at first glance. The smaller form at the bottom is to scale of the human body in fetal position, This bodily orb is completely covered by the larger, hollow form floating above. The bottom feels both seperate and connected to the to, existing in synchronicity and physcially impacting eachother. The form floating above is a representation and attempt to define physical space as the body interacts with it.
